New Stained Glass Windows Installed at Saint Mary Help of Christians

On a recent trip through South Carolina, Project Manager Michael Osysko took photos of the incredible new stained glass windows at Saint Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Aiken.

The three windows are:

  • “Christ in Majesty”, located in the west facade of the church above the main entrance
  • “Blessed Virgin Mary Help of Christians”, located in the north transept of the church
  • “Saint John the Baptist”, located in the south transept of the church

These stained glass windows were artistically crafted by Mayer of Munich.  Throughout the design process, McCrery Architects worked with the pastor of Saint Mary Help of Christians, Father Gregory Wilson, assisting Mayer of Munich in the development of the content and the vision for each of the windows by reviewing and commenting on their very detailed drawings and renderings.  Thanks to the amazing artists at Mayer of Munich, the windows turned out more beautiful than any of us could have imagined!
