Check out these new photos by Clark Architects from Lincoln, Nebraska of the Newman Center under construction. In these photos, one can start to understand the relationship of this building to its neighbors in terms of scale, and the way in which the bell tower will signify that this building is a special place.
The exterior of the Resurrection chapel is nearly complete, and it is evident from the photos that the new chapel will stand out from its neighbors and be a landmark building on campus. Students and visitors should have no difficulty identifying the chapel on campus. It has been painted bright blue and white, the official colors of the university. All that remains are the interiors and the exterior landscaping.
With the roof trusses up and nearly all of the concrete block laid, the new Saint Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Aiken, South Carolina, is starting to look very real both inside and out.
